MTD

What is MTD?

MARINE TECHNOLOGY DAYS AT KTH ROYAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY STUDENT CONFERENCE AND MARKETING FAIR

MTD is a two day conference and business fair for students who are doing their bachelor and master studies in Naval architecture as well for companies within the marine industry hosted at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

The agenda for the event is a two-day conference including a business fair and a dinner. Master- and bachelor’s thesis and ongoing student projects will be presented during the conference and attending companies also have the opportunity to present their technical accomplishments in their respective fields and present their ongoing projects and products.

The idea with this conference is to create a forum where all Naval Architect students from years three to five gather together with people from the Maritime industry, to present and discuss their work in the field of marine technology.

We believe that this conference will provide a good image of how the students at the master programme of Naval architecture have been working during their time at KTH and it will also be an exciting environment for students to present their work in.

On the first of the two conference days, the Ship Society is organising a career fair at KTH. During the career fair the people from the industry will have the opportunity to have more induvial discussions with the students. The Ship Society provides facilities for stands where companies can present themselves. For the students, this is the opportunity to meet representatives from the industry and to create valuable contacts.

The event is intended to create interaction between the students and the industry and has been a great success over the last eight years. Our ambition is that the event will remain a success and further develop the communication between the students and the companies.

You as a company are more than welcome to participate in the entire event or parts of it. If you want further collaboration with the students, feel free to contact The ship society.
